The village location of the Queens Head Inn allows cyclists to either use it as a base for more than one night or as an overnight stay when passing through on a cycling route. Our bedrooms are very comfortable, the food excellent & the service efficient but unobtrusive. We can provide a secure space overnight for bikes. £99 for 2 people for 1 night accommodation including breakfast. £199 for 2 people for 2 nights accommodation, English breakfast on both mornings and dinner allowance of £20 per person on the first night.

Burghley, one of the largest and grandest houses of the first Elizabethan age. Built and mostly designed by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1555 and 1587. In addition to which there are excellent bird watching areas with easy travelling distance including the Anglian Water Bird Watching centre at Rutland Water & Stanwick Lakes both of which have superb facilities & are within a 20 - 30 minute drive and are open throughout the year.
