The village location of the Queens Head Inn allows cyclists to either use it as a base for more than one night or as an overnight stay when passing through on a cycling route. Our bedrooms are very comfortable, the food excellent & the service efficient but unobtrusive. We can provide a secure space overnight for bikes. £99 for 2 people for 1 night accommodation including breakfast. £199 for 2 people for 2 nights accommodation, English breakfast on both mornings and dinner allowance of £20 per person on the first night.

Burghley, one of the largest and grandest houses of the first Elizabethan age. Built and mostly designed by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1555 and 1587. A fishing break in Northamptonshire, whilst staying at the Queens Head Inn is ideal for complete beginners or well seasoned anglers. There are a number of fisheries in the area which sell day or longer passes and there are several lakes and rivers, including the River Nene which we back onto too and which you can fish during your stay, and you can expect to catch carp, bream, pike, rudd & roach and more. Just a short drive away you will find the delightful Bluebell fishing complex, Tansor near Oundle. With its 6 lakes and 2 miles fishing on the River Nene it is famous for large Carp and Pike.
