Welcome to The Queen's Head

There's basically no public transport around here currently. To get here by road, from the North, South and East, Take the A1/A47 to the roundabout at Wansford, go through Wansford and then Yarwell to reach Nassington. The pub sits on the left hand side as you enter the village.

The Queen's Head is situated on the banks of the old River Nene (around here, Nene rhymes with lean or mean)

The river has been straightened when navigation was important, so we now lie on a short loop, which is technically navigable to the piled edge at the bottom of our garden, where there are mooring spaces for a few boats and a launch ramp that's not really accessable by vehicle. Fine to park here to launch canoes, paddleboards and the like if you come for a drink/food afterwards.
